Conservatives Still Outnumber Libs

The good news is that only six states–Washington, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Hawaii–have more liberals than conservatives, down from nine states in 2017.

The bad news is that nationally we only outnumber the bad guys by nine percentage points. In 1992 conservatives outnumbered liberals, 36% to 17%; so since then, libs have picked up 8 points ( https://news.gallup.com/poll/247016/conservatives-greatly-outnumber-liberals-states.aspx?g_source=link_NEWSV9&g_medium=TOPIC&g_campaign=item_&g_content=Conservatives%2520Greatly%2520Outnumber%2520Liberals%2520in%252019%2520U.S.%2520States).

This is according to the 2018 Gallup tracking poll.

The poll shows 19 states as “highly conservative” (at least 20 percentage points more than libs), with another six states “more conservative than average” (15 to 19 points). “About average” states show conservatives leading by 7 to 14 points, with nine states “more liberal than average.”

Enough with the numbers already. What does it mean?

It means we still outnumber these people, but if we want to hold onto our country, we have to do better–much better. Maybe the Green New Deal will help us do that–unless there are really a lot of Americans who want our country to resemble Venezuela.

I need a separate blog post to finish what I want to say.
