I don’t know… Whenever I buy nice cat toys for my cats, I wind up watching them play with cardboard boxes or paper bags. They really like the little curly scraps of cardboard that they peel off the boxes. I would like them to get exercise by some method other than fighting; but have you ever tried to get a cat to do anything she doesn’t feel like doing?
It’s funny that you mention that, because today I got a small package in the mail, a DVD that came in a medium sized box. My cat decided that the box, including packing peanuts, would make a dandy cat toy and I’ve been fighting with her over the disposition of that box all afternoon. I just don’t want to have to clean up packing peanuts.

We did have a cat once that gave everybody a good laugh when our grandson set up his model railroad and turned the train on. That cat went nuts chasing the train around and around.
