There’s always yet another Star Wars sequel ready to come out–and this time, activists have warned, it had better have “gay” characters or else!
“Yo, Margo, let’s take the kids to the movies.”
“Sure, Jeremy. What’s playing?”
“It’s Star Wars XVI: Safe Sex in the Oort Cloud. It has giant gay click beetles in it.”
“Really? How can you tell they’re gay?”
Let us draw the curtain on this unedifying conversation.
It never ends. Frankly, if there were never another Star Wars movie, I’d find a way to survive. I’ve seen four of them and wouldn’t mind never seeing another.
We stopped after three. The series lost its magic, somehow.
But the Star Wars franchise has always provided plenty of work for liquidators. I made money selling off a truckload of Star Wars cookies.
The first one was amazing for its time. I enjoyed it, but that’s about as far as I’m willing to go It was a good movie, but it didn’t change my life. I doubt that I’ll ever spend the time to watch event the first one, again.
