Please Pray for My Sister

My sister, Alice, is still doing her workaholic thing, which involves her driving home from work at midnight and nodding off behind the wheel. This is not good; but it’s a compulsion with her, and has been for most of her life, and no one can say anything to get her to stop. So please pray for her.

O Lord our God, in Jesus’ name, please intervene in my sister’s life, and save her. She doesn’t know how to stop what she’s doing, and it’s dangerous. Have mercy on her, O Lord, and save her. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. Lee, you and your family are always in my prayers, every day. I’ll add more prayers especially for Alice.

  2. I’ll be praying as well. Driving home when you’re tired is something with which I’m very familiar. Dozed off once and nearly went off my road – I was just a few feet away from the entrance to my driveway. By God’s grace I came away with just a really good scare.

  3. Prayers going up. Does she not realize how awful her torment will be if she kills someone, even if she isn’t concerned for her own safety?

    1. Thanks for asking! Actually we haven’t travelled for some time. I have been working hard on Bell Mountain’s translation, so I wasn’t on the internet very much.

    2. I am now working on Chapter 20 – “The Dues Collector.” When that chapter’s finished, I’ll be able to say I finished half of the book. Yesterday I was happy because I translated Chapter 19 in one day! ( I never did that before!)
Please pray for me that I will be able to finish the project successfully and by God’s grace it will be published.

    3. Amen and amen! I hope your Uncle Kevin will be able to help you with that; and maybe Chalcedon HQ might have some help for you.
