‘The News Media Explain It Just Fine!’

Hi there! Mr. Nature is out there watching ants or something, so I thought I might as well take his place today–I, Dr. Credulous! Sit down and have a drink of Kool-Aid!

You know, a lot of people are saying our free and independent press has lost a lot of its credibility lately, especially in light of some really big stories, just recently, that they totally got wrong. To which I answer, “Pshaw!”

I choose rather to believe the editors, publishers, and news anchors at The New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, and all the rest of them. They said, “We don’t investigate the stories; we just report the news.” Well! Does that say it all, or what?

Besides, who says they got any of those stories wrong?

The “Covington kids” really did seek out a poor old defenseless Native American and smirk at him. I seen the picture!

Jussie Smollett really was attacked by white supremacists pretending to be these two guys from Nigeria, or whatever it was. Didn’t the DA in Chicago give him a total free pass?

Donald Trump really did tell that Cohen guy to lie, we all know Mr. Cohen would never tell a lie unless the president ordered him to; and for Special Prosecutor Mueller to say the story wasn’t true was just his way of being a nice guy.

And also Russiagate was real. I don’t care what they say. Obviously the Mueller team was paid off by Trump to cover it all up.

And how, you ask, do I know that all those things are true?

Because the news media said they were, that’s how!

I’m Dr. Credulous, setting the record straight.

  1. “You know, a lot of people are saying our free and independent press has lost a lot of its credibility lately…” Well, no, it hasn’t lost any with me LATELY, because it lost it all long ago. 🙂

  2. Mark Levin’s new book is coming out “Unfreedom of the Press.” He tells how John Adams, Abraham Lincoln, JFK, LBJ, Nixon, Clinton, and Obama all used the IRS & FBI to prevent free speech, especially of the Press. Today the Press is joined at the hip with the Democrat Party, thus no more free speech (except our heroes like Rush, Shaun, Tucker, Dobbs, Judge Jenine, etc.).

    1. Is it truly possible that they actually believe the fake nooze that the media serve them every day? Like, how many times do these losers have to get caught before people tune them out?

    2. In defense of the people who believe the fake news, I have to say that many of them never hear anything else because they’ve been cushioned from childhood from any other sources, and they simply don’t know that there ARE any other sources. And before you say, “Well, it’s out there for them to find” (which I’ve heard so often), remember that we can’t look for something if we don’t know it exists. And even when the fake nooze sources have to walk back on their fakery, they tend to do it in on a back page in few words and in such a way that they haven’t really corrected the mistake, only blurred and mealy-mouthed it. Some of them even continue to bluster through, repeating the fakery as though those who’ve exposed them are the fakes.

Meanwhile, a lot of people who’ve never heard of Rush or Tucker or WeaselZippers or any other source that’s exposing the fakery go on thinking that the fakery is true because they’ve never heard or read anything else. Or if they HAVE heard of it, the nooze outlets have convinced them that it’s an evil and/or wacko offspring of the alt-right.

Again: In order to ask a question, we have to know part of the answer. In order to research a subject, we have to know it exists.

    3. How many times have I heard leftids say there would be no conservatives, no conservatism, if Fox News didn’t swindle and trick people out of their natural Far Left Crazy?

I don’t like to accuse those who’ve been cheated of doing the cheating: but all the libs whom I know personally very much **want** to believe the fake nooze.
