I have to review a book for Chalcedon, Dark Agenda by David Horowitz, and I’m feeling overwhelmed by the weight and seriousness of his argument, and the mountain of evidence he cites to support it. This blog post is an effort to warm up for the challenge.
Usually when I read a book to review, I mark striking passages with a pen and dog-ear the pages that I want to cite. I think I’ve dog-eared every other page in here. Well, that won’t do. Think, think, think…
Horowitz was raised by Far Left parents and grew up to become an activist for their movement in the 1960s. When he talks about the revolutionary Left, he knows what he’s talking about. That’s why they ban him from the social(ist) media. He has left his radical past behind and come over to our side.
The book’s subtitle is “The War to Destroy Christian America.” The fact that “war” is the most appropriate word he could have used is what’s so overwhelming about it. The Far Left literally means to destroy and erase everything about America that makes it America.
Horowitz, who is Jewish, believes that Christian America is one of the best things that ever happened to the human race, and that it deserves to be defended and preserved.
The bad guys aren’t kidding, folks. Radicalism is their religion, and they are waging a jihad against Christianity, which they hate with a passion that, for many of them, crosses the line into the psychotic. No debate, no compromise, no shared humanity: their goal is to wipe out every vestige of Christian America and create an authoritarian, atheistic hell-hole with themselves in charge.
No, I’m not exaggerating. Neither is David Horowitz. This book was shocking even to me.

Either Christian America wins, or Christian America dies. God give us strength: and may God fight for us.
“Dark Agenda” is on my list to read. On NewsMax TV they have an infomercial they play a lot featuring an interview with Horowitz about this book. How interesting among the leading voices for a Christian America is David Horowitz, Ben Shapiro, and Dennis Pager, all Jewish. Wayne Allen Root is a talk show host out of Las Vegas who has a M-F show on NewsMax who features himself as an evangelical capitalist – he also is Jewish.
David Horowitz, Dennis Pager (Prager?), Wayne Allen Root – yes! However, I’ve been reading that Shapiro actively supports the con-con (Convention of States). So, I’m a little worried about why. I wonder if you’ve heard anything about this…
Historically speaking, the Christian Church proliferates most during times of persecution. God will preserve His church and sustain us through each and every crisis. But, yes, we are at war. One of my most favorite chapters to reference is Ephesians 6, particularly: Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.

I’m just glad to know that Christian America is still breathing. I read every article I can find by Horowitz, but haven’t bought his book, yet. Funny thing, when I either print an article or send it to myself for reference, I mark up the important points with asterisks. Horowitz’s articles are the most marked up, with up to 10 asterisks per paragraph. Frankly, I was waiting for World Net Daily to lower the price on Dark Agenda, and a few other books, in their weekly Wednesday emails. But now, I’m gonna spring for it at full price.
I’ll be getting that book!
After Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton came down from the Supreme Court in 1973, there was a movement to hold a national Constitutional Convention. Many pro-lifers and constitutionalists opposed it, because it would open up the Constitution to all kinds off changes. It was too dangerous. The movement failed.
Who would you trust, today, to write a new Constitution? Uh… nobody!
