‘Trust and Obey’

One of my favorite hymns from Sunday school, Trust and Obey–this is for Evelyn, lyrics and all. I don’t know how many Vagle Brothers there are, but they do make a nice sound together–and oh! the background scenery. God’s handiwork is always present, always a gift.

  1. This is a great old favorite of mine, too. I was thinking on I Surrender All, and this one came to mind too.

  2. Great video – beautiful scenery, easy to read lyrics, and good singing.

I have been challenged these last two weeks to apply this motto to my life’s experience; Trust and Obey. Today, I am finally off pain meds that fogged up my mind. Yesterday, I was sent to the ER to see about the swelling in my legs and feet from my back injury because of the possibility of having a blood clot. 10 hours later I left the hospital and I don’t have a blood clot – yea! I have been put on Lasix, and today I drove my car for the first time and bought gas (but still moving slow). Thanks for the prayers!! Martin Luther taught we are receive all things from the hand of Jesus, so when trials come our way we are to embrace them – easier said than done. While in ER I read every third chapter in the Old Testament, and lots of Psalms and Proverbs.

    1. Yipes! Welcome back. Glad our prayers for you have been answers–you never let on how serious it was. Whew!

  3. I just remembered Terry MacAlmon singing In The Presence of Jehovah
and what an anointed worship song it is.

    1. I’ll post it tomorrow morning. Just now I’m unsuccessfully grappling with computer stuff. I’ve lost my Facebook referrals and don’t know how to get them back.

  4. oh, drat. I don’t know how to help you, either. I’m failing as a computer expert. I really did much better just a short time ago. Brain fog, senility…?
