Ain’t gonna work no more, no more, ain’t gonna work no more…

So The Real Smart People tell the Brits they need to adopt a nine-hour work week–to Save The Planet, don’t you know–and that leaves us wondering: what are they going to do with the 31 hours they just chopped off their work week?

Making Humanity Redundant

I guessed “write neo-Shakespearian tragedies,” but I was probably wrong. Anyway, I needn’t have bothered–the answer was staring us right in the face all along.

You know hi-tech has the answer!

  1. They never stop to ask … with no one working, who’s going to manufacture the first round of robots? And who’s going to provide all the goods and services while sufficient robots are being manufactured and programmed? Oh, and where is the energy going to come from to provide the wi-fi and keep the robot factories running? And….

It all makes as much sense as the insistence that everyone drive electric cars (or take electric public transportation) instead of gasoline-fueled ones, without asking where all the electricity is going to come from, not to mention the batteries (and their disposal). But then again, it doesn’t have to make sense. It just has to make a power-and-money base for the leftist elite and self-righteousness for the leftist drones.

    1. Oh, robots are gonna make the other robots! They’ll do everything! Science says so. And if no one’s working to make any money, the government can always print more and dole it out. Alexandra says so!

    2. Sure, once the first round of robots is built, they can then build the other robots. But who’s going to build the first round? 🙂 And again, where is the electricity going to come from?

    3. As any socialist could tell you, “Electricity just *is*!” You know–like food.

Except in Venezuela, where they have neither.

  2. Bingo! You nailed it; this is about depopulating the earth. Standing orders from God are to fill the earth. He said it in the Garden, repeated it to Noah & Company and then enforced it with the Babel Dispersion. I don’t understand why God wants this, but I KNOW that it’s for our good. Isaiah 45:18 tells us that the earth was made to be inhabited. (Actually, the entire 45th chapter of Isaiah is illuminating in this discussion.)

So the bottom line is that all of this crap is the work of God’s opposer. He wants us not to populate. He wants us to believe that the Earth can’t support a large population. He wants us to believe that there is no purpose to all of this. Bunk!

With regard to sex-bots: no way! My microwave has been with me through thin and thick and even if the 7 button doesn’t work anymore, I’m sticking with it. 🙂

Get real folks! A machine is a machine and sex-bots will prove to be a novelty of limited appeal. I’ve heard some stupid ideas in my day and this is about as stupid as it gets.

    1. I think what they did to Jersey is worse than bombing it. Nagasaki is beautiful these days. I don’t know if Jersey will ever be rebuilt under the reign of mankind.

    2. They’ve done quite a number on my home town, too. You wouldn’t believe the traffic–and now that they’re out of room horizontally, they’re packing people in vertically.
