I’m hurrying to get this posted before Joshua goes to bed. I don’t know what time it is in Japan, but it’s either very late or very early. Oh, well, he can see it when he gets up again: Blessed Assurance, sung by Alan Jackson.
And on top of it, we’ve got some good news–an answered prayer.
On May 5 Joshua asked us to pray for his grandmother and aunt in Japan, who had heard of the Gospel but not yet received it. Today Joshua reports that both are now reading the Gospel of John–and may the Holy Spirit speak to them! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Halleluya! This is one of the best reports ever! Praise God for His grace and love. May the two ladies continue to grow in their hunger for the Word.

Thank you very much for this, and for your prayers. We’re praying every day that the Holy Spirit will work in their hearts, that they may be saved! (It was 2:00 AM, so I went to bed!)
What happened was that I told Grandma and Aunty on the phone to read the Bible, and the Holy Spirit must have used that. Amen!
