There it is–the silver medal.
It’s nice to get some recognition, now and then. In 2014 The Cellar Beneath the Cellar, Book No. 2 of my Bell Mountain series, won a silver medal in the Global E-Book Awards.
The year before, Bell Mountain itself won a bronze.
See? Official and bona fide proof that my books are worth your time! I’m sure these awards aren’t like the Oscars, where they sometimes give Best Picture to the worst picture. If you haven’t read ’em yet… well, c’mon!
I didn’t know this! I must have missed the posts about the books. Also, I love the cover of that one!
I hope this inspires you to read them.
I love the cover of “Cellar.” Artist Kirk DouPonce painted Ellayne *exactly* as I imagined her! I don’t know how he does it.
To see all the covers in the series, just click “Books.”
No kidding…if I need an artist, he seems the go-to-guy! So, I just saw Joshua’s post highlighting your books. You’ve quite a fan there!
He’s been working to translate Bell Mountain into Japanese.
Very cool! The books look neat in Japanese characters as well!
Gee, where did you see that? I haven’t seen it. Can you give me a link?
No, sorry… I meant the books WILL look neat. …lack of sleep, Lee, lack of sleep!
I hope you plan to read them. But I also hope they won’t put you to sleep.
Unless the awesome covers are deceptive in regards to the contents, I highly doubt it 🙂 Have a 1st read suggestion?
Start with Bell Mountain, it’s the first book in the series.
Thank you. I look forward to it! I will be in touch about it.
Just think: 11 books in the series published so far, and by the time you get through them all, Lord willing, there’ll be more.
Every time a new book comes out, my wife re-reads the whole series. I guess that’s why she’s so good at Bell Mountain trivia.
Haha. I won’t be so fast, you have some time! Preparing to move, I’ll be more disappointed in my reading accomplishments than I am now! On my own behalf, however, I am usually reading something that requires periodic re-reads of paragraphs to fully comprehend the mental consumption that is partially taking place! Often, I read a couple books at a time, I like lighter material when I’m sleepy, for example.
I really love The Cellar Beneath the Cellar! It is such an exciting book!
The judges liked it, too.
Congratulations, Lee. Good to hear you are getting the recognition you deserve for all your hard work. It is always good to be appreciated.
Yesterday, almost all day, my internet was down and I cannot believe the reason. I called and called, no return calls. Finally drove over there, taking my statement containing acc’t # and now I find that my payment was not
posted and they cut me off. I walked in to the office on the second, handed them the check, got a receipt, and now on the 13th, they cut me off. Can you believe! I don’t know what all I missed, but I guess I’ll catch up today somehow. Sorry if you may have thought I died or something.
I know you’ve had computer prombles.

Oh, fap!
Do you ever get the feeling, “Everyone’s allowed to do a sloppy job but me”?
That award was five years ago, BTW–but it’s sort of a gift that keeps on giving.
The Cellar Beneath the Cellar is a great bit of writing. It’s a real page turner.
The Cellar Beneath the Cellar is definitely one of my favorites – all that searching in secret passage ways in forbidden ruins and finding long lost holy Scriptures!
