Just finished another reading through Jeremiah yesterday and it is such a shame that leaders are not leading in the right direction, even today.
It comes with the territory … the territory of Original Sin. On a more mundane note, we used to say that politics is like standing water: the scum always rises to the top.
It amazes me how many religious leaders actually promote unscriptural conduct.
