I love this hymn and just have to post it now and then–To Be a Pilgrim, by John Bunyan, author of Pilgrim’s Progress. Performed by Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band. It’s the kind of hymn that adds some spark to your bark!
Also known as He Who Would Valiant Be.
Well, my first comment on this disappeared. I think I said: I love this song, too, and another suggestion: He’s Still God by Carroll Roberson. If this one makes it….
I’m reading this comment and I’ll post your hymn.
Thank you. This computer does some of the strangest things sometimes.
Then, I also make blunders myself, so between me and the computer and some of its programming, we can create some real messes.
I love this arrangement. Beautiful.
Nobody does this hymn better than Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band–although I’m exceedingly fond of the rendition that’s got video of a peaceful train ride through the Yorkshire countryside.
