By Request, Another ‘Redeemed’

It’s confusing, when two different hymns have the same name. So I’ll post them both! This is the Redeemed requested by Phoebe, sung by Jessy Dixon… with a lot of brio.

And I’ve just remembered it’s Tuesday afternoon and I haven’t cranked out a Newswithviews column yet, I was so busy working on The Wind From Heaven. So I guess I’d better get to work!

  1. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone else came up with a third hymn by the same name. The miracle of our redemption is not only awe-inspiring but hymn-inspiring. As someone once said, if we don’t sing it, the very stones will cry out.

  2. Which reminds me of something G.K. Chesterton once said: It’s easy to understand why we’d want to spend eternity with God, but why God would want to spend eternity with us is a mystery indeed. 🙂

    1. The link works fine, and thanks for sending it. I hope everybody here gets a chance to watch it. I recognized some of Byron’s cousins, but didn’t see him. He’s probably over by the bicycles.

    2. Thank you, Ina, for sharing the nice video! Those Quokkas are extremely cute, that’s a certainty!

    1. If I can find it, I’ll post it first thing tomorrow morning. Oh, wait a minute–there it is in your comment. Maybe I’m working too hard today.

    2. I thought your video was quite nice, even with the false start; but I can’t find it on Youtube, so I’ll have to go with Phil Cross and Poet Voices. I lack the know-how to import a video from any other source than Youtube and post it here.

The best I can do is mention your video and tell readers where to find it on this blog. Thanks so much for sending it.

    3. And I am a lousy explainer lol. We are doomed! If you open that video on YouTube and then right click on it a scroll down appears and one option will sat copy video url. At least it does on a computer. Not sure how to do it on a phone.
