There are certain truths that we’ve almost given up ever hearing spoken by a public figure. But in a recent speech at Notre Dame, Attorney General William Barr has spoken them (https://clashdaily.com/2019/10/ag-barrs-speech-to-notre-dame-rips-the-mask-off-the-progressive-agenda/).
Two quotes stand out.
“This is not decay. This is organized destruction. Secularists and their allies have marshalled all the forces of mass communication, popular culture, the entertainment industry, and academia in an unremitting assault on religion and traditional values.”
And, “Ground zero for these attacks on religion are the schools.”
Hit the bull’s-eye both times.
Two things to keep in mind, though:
For all the attacks on Christianity, from all its enemies, with all their power… we, the Church, the body of Christ on earth, are still here.
And as hard as they try, with all their resources, to sell us on “climate change” and “transgender” and Darwinism and all the rest of it… they just can’t close the deal. It must drive them loco: we ain’t buyin’ it.
Okay, they’re attacking us, doing everything in their power to try to wipe out Christianity. It’s obvious.
So what do we do about it?
Pray, sing, love one another, and fearlessly proclaim the truth.
I vaguely heard about this on tv the other day. Apparently it upset a lot of lefties, go figure, and they were attacking him for it. But they are only proving his point.
You don’t think the nooze media would’ve given any significant coverage to that speech, do you?
He’s brave to take a stand. Bravo.
Grateful for him speaking on this topic especially with crazy presidential candidates from the Left saying stuff about Conservative Christians
I took the time to listen to the full speech and I highly recommend it to everyone. I didn’t know anything about Barr or even that he was a person of faith, but this speech was great. I’m glad there are people like this still in government.
We need more like him!
Can’t wait for the Inspector General’s Report on SpyGate to be released, and also John Durham’s report on the beginnings of the RussiaGate/Trump cheated, and then watch how the Dems & MSM spin it all to more impeachment talk. When Jesus called His generation evil and adulterous, He could add “insane” to our current generation.
