Two stories I’ve covered in the last two days have left me with a deeply uneasy feeling.
Yesterday, we had the Texas jury ordering a father to allow his wife to “transition” his 7-year-old son into a simulacrum of a girl, by means of puberty-blocking drugs and female hormones (https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/breaking-jury-rules-against-dad-trying-to-save-his-7-year-old-from-gender-transition). And today, it’s a British court ruling that the Bible is “incompatible with human dignity” and condemning “lack of belief in transgenderism and conscientious objection to transgenderism” (https://leeduigon.com/2019/10/23/uk-court-finds-bible-incompatible-with-human-dignity/).
The father in Texas has been ordered to “affirm” that his son is a “girl.” In both cases we have a court dictating to someone what he must say and what he must believe.
Free speech, anyone? “You’ll say what we tell you to say, or else.” Free exercise of religion? “You will believe what we tell you to believe: and you will not believe what we forbid you to believe.”
And I can’t stop thinking, “What next? What are they going to demand of us next?”
I don’t know. It’s waiting for the other shoe to drop. No, it’s worse than that, because the wearer of those shoes seems to be a centipede, with lots and lots of shoes to drop.
The whole power class of the Western world–left-wing politicians, left-wing judges and juries, all the big banks, Hollywood, the nooze media, the colleges and looniversities, the public schools–has gone totally gaga for “transgender.” I don’t know why. What are we supposed to get out of this?
It’s a delusion, it’s a lie, it’s psychosis on a scale the world has never seen before. And it’s profoundly evil–a full-scale revolt against God and His created order, from which we might contract a spiritual pollution.
Where are they going to stop? Will we all be required to “affirm” this lunacy? Will they shut down our churches–don’t laugh: Beto the presidential candidate has already called for this–unless the churches “affirm” sexual confusion and depravity?
We think our Constitution will protect us. Well, Magna Carta doesn’t seem to be protecting anyone in England. Documents of law have no force at all when those who are charged with executing the law simply choose to ignore it.
Psalm 11 asks, “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” The answer is, “Not much.” But the psalm tells us that there is very much the Lord Himself can do.
Because we have free will, evil empires rise: men and women build them, so that they might prey on others. Because the earth is the Lord’s, no evil empire has ever escaped His judgment. History is heaped high with their wreckage.
The Lord is our defense. Pray harder, sing louder, and proclaim the truth.
And Jesu defend us.
The unbelievable insanity and tyranny of the demands of government and especially the courts these days makes me believe that we are perhaps in the end times. I saw today that the current Prime Minister of Israel is talking of rebuilding the Temple and that makes me even more concerned that we are seeing a headlong dash into the end times. That any court would permit the surgical abuse of a child to fulfill one parent’s desire for something not only wrong, but sick, clearly indicates that all of the old standards are rapidly falling away and that there is no longer any place that is safe. I’m not talking about the safe spaces desired by college snowflakes, but the safety of civilization itself.
The West used to be a refuge for this kind of stuff, now that’s quickly being eroded away. I do also think it’s sign of times. I’m aware that Christians have been persecuted for the last 2,000 years, but there is something different about it now.
Other’s have commented on how quickly things have progressed. One of the reasons God wanted the nations to spread out after the flood is because it’s more difficult for apostasy to spread. But modern technology has bridged the distance, allowing apostasy to spread at breakneck speed.
You are both correct in response, and Lee is very “right on” with his reporting. It does boggle the mind to see these insane things being perpetrated. When we read in Scripture about the sacrifice of children on the molech monster, we wonder how any parent could possibly do such a heinous thing to children. Is it really any worse that what this system is doing?
It’s pretty much the same damned thing. (I mean “damned” literally.)

These little animals remind me of meerkats. We used to get a kick out of the movies about them.
Today one of our local news stations reported on FB that a popular brand of feminine products is removing the female symbol from their packaging out of “respect for the transgender” population. Pretty soon one is going to be accused of hate just for “identifying” as either a man or a woman.

Years ago, Christian conservatives warned that the “Gay Agenda” was not merely a matter of not “persecuting” gays but of a demand that they be first “left alone,” and then “accepted” and finally, that they be “in charge” of the society and that would include the horrors going on today. Guess who was right?
More examples that we are being terrorized into chaos and tyrannized into order. While we are afraid of chaos, it’s the “order” that we should fear. I see the demonic hands of the NWO, One World Government, every day. The State has spoken. Hopefully, we’ll have 4 more years to prepare; and a few more months to do something about it.

A few months ago I stopped getting your emails, and for awhile thought you removed me from your email for whatever reason – perhaps my comments weren’t sitting well, or something else. When the same thing happened on another website, after thinking about it for a long time, I decided to check my settings. Finding that they had been changed “mysteriously” by the internet ghost which often changes my settings without my input, I noticed that the wordpress thingamajig stopped allowing me to receive these emails. I then reset it and am happy to get back to your blog – even happier that you hadn’t cancelled me.
Well, I’m glad that’s straightened out. I missed you and I just couldn’t imagine what had happened.
