Today is Patty’s birthday, and I want to thank all of you who have prayed for us. The Lord has heard those prayers, and she’s a lot better off than she was a couple months ago.
I would kind of like to make birthday announcements a regular feature of this blog; but of course I can’t do that unless readers tell me when their birthdays are. We do have a fellowship here, and I think birthday announcements would be a nice thing we could do.
You don’t have to tell me how old you are.
The more I think about this, the more I’d like to do it. What do you think?
P.S.–I’m thinking Byron the Quokka could make the announcements. He needs something to do between contests.
I think it is a nice, friendly thing to do, and my birthday is April 3. I will be 87 next time, if I’m still here. God’s will be done.
OK–please let me know when we get close to April 3.

Mine isn’t likely to win any awards, either. Maybe I need to make a chart. Then all I’ll have to remember is to look at the chart.

And in making my joke, I forgot to mention my birthday. It’s pretty easy to remember, unless you’re still groggy from Christmas the day before. In other words, the birthday is 26 December — and yes, I’d love to hear from Byron on that day, whether he’s groggy or not.
Patty and I had our first date on Dec. 26, so that ought to be easy to remember.
