Peaceful, mellow… The First Noel, played on the guitar by Nanae Fujiwara. For me it evokes the spirit of a still and snowy Christmas Eve. Relax and let it flow.

Oh, this is greaat. I hadn’t thought of this one yet, but I really love it.
Our church sang Come, come Emanuel this morning. That was nice, too.
This is beautiful! At Wal-Mart, where I work, we have non-stop stupid Christmas music. Either it’s old classics (like I’ll Be Home for Christmas) sung really badly, or they’re just downright obnoxious with only the barest connection to Christmas (like Last Christmas I Gave You My Heart, where it literally just repeats one short verse over and over and over). The one thing they all have in common, however, is that they are all secular. Not one mention of Jesus. Not one 😣
For mine, I’ll request Come Thou Long Expected Jesus.
Oooh, Laura! I feel for ya. I know what ya mean!
Just hope they never play “Santa Baby.”
I know what you mean, Laura. That “Last Christmas ” really gets on my nerves, as well as John Lennon’s “Happy Christmas.”
John Lennon and Christmas? Perish the thought.
Lovely!
Beautifully arranged and beautifully performed. Good classical guitar is truly a joy to listen to.
Nice!! If Ms. Fujiwara and I were to have a guitar contest, I would surely come to nought…
I don’t think so, Joshua. I love hearing you and your brother play. Keep it up.
I want to here the Swanson Bros. do “Hyfrydol.”
We’ll probably play that song someday!! (As long as YouTube exists!)
Second that
So pretty and mellow – just not enough of it so hit it twice.
Beautiful
