Phoebe asked for this one, The Holly and the Ivy, by the Robert Shaw Chorale. This was supposed to have lyrics, but I can’t find any. I think the little girl in the picture must have put them away somewhere, trying to be helpful.
Our Christmas Carol Contest continues!
Thank you, Lee!
Good choice, Phoebe!
Very beautiful!! The lyrics will appear when you click on the “CC” button next to the gear button.
“Mr. Duigon, you have 12 seconds in which to find the CC button. If you don’t, we will shoot you…”
[Gasps frantically. He had no idea such a thing as a CC button even existed, never mind what it is or where it might be.]
Oh, no! I hope a situation like that will never happen!
I forgot to say that the CC button (which is “Closed Captions”) only appears when the video is started.
As noted, I finally found it.
Of course, then Windows 10 will come in and finish me off…
Ooh-ooh, I found it! I didn’t get shot. Thanks, Joshua.
Phew! I’m so relieved to hear that!! I’m glad you found it in time! 😊
I’ve never been good with any kind of technology. You should’ve seen my poor father trying to teach me how to drive a standard shift. He had to stop when I somehow made thick billowing smoke come up from under the hood. (It was my brother’s car and Dad was afraid I’d destroy it.)
I know what you mean! I have a hard time with technology, too, especially when it comes to difficult internet language or hard-to-understand instructions. I don’t know how I’m going to drive…
Your dad will teach you. He’s gotta have an easier time of it than mine did.
I’m looking forward to driving my first car!
I would like to request “What Child is This” by Andrea Bocelli! Here’s the link! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELJ49ZSS0tM
One can’t miss with requesting this carol – so beautiful. I live by CC – Closed Captioning, on my TV so I know what the heck people are saying, they talk so fast these days.
Well, yeah, eventually I figured it out, once the initial techno-panic wore off.
My problem is that people mumble so much these days. Funny, but the older I get, the more people seem to mumble. Coincidence? 🙂
