Planning My Day

You know you’ve got a promble when “planning my day” is going on and it’s already 10:30. It’s sort of like getting chased up a tree by a ceratosaurus. You can’t get down, and you can’t do the things you have to do.

Like, I normally write my Newswithviews column on Monday. I don’t see that happening. By now I should have at least four blog posts up. Fat chance. And then there’s this store and that store to go to because we’re out of stuff.

The problem is, how to find a way to use the time efficiently while I’m up the tree. I can think about that while I’m going to the stores. (Note: I will be wearing a mask. I didn’t get where I am today by breathing germs on everyone I meet in public.) By then we’ll be into the afternoon.

I sort of missed all the nooze this weekend. Was there anything I really should have noticed?

If I could just get a good night’s sleep–!

  1. I so identify with the things you describe, and I would not wish this on anyone. I am still praying for a touch from the Lord for you, (and I even pray for myself as well as everyone else). It is so difficult to feel like you are walking as though in deep mud and struggling with every step. Sleep, ahhh, what a blessing and what a difficulty when it doesn’t come and stay through the night.
My Father, I pray in the name of our Lord Jesus for a healing touch on our friend and brother, Lee. You alone have the power to heal, strengthen and help in our times of need. Amen
