Pete doesn’t seem to be eligible. Not a natural born citizen, but his supporters are lying about the meaning of the law, as usual, to include Pete. But ‘the nation has already endured two likely usurpers of the presidency. It should not have to endure any more’
We looked it up. His father is a naturalized citizen, and he is natural born. But for him even to suggest he ought to be president is a grotesquerie.
His father, who apparently was a marxist who worked to support communist Gremsci’s legacy, was supposedly naturalized in 1979. However, he didn’t get married until 1980, Pet was born 1982, and the law is that he must live with his already naturalized wife for 3 years before qualifying for NBC, which means he couldn’t be naturalized until 1983, after Pete was born. Additionally, Pete has not furnished, even upon request, documents to prove his father was in fact naturalized in 1979, as claimed by his obituary. So maybe he is, maybe he isn’t, but I want proof of documents before I believe it. However, it would be grotesque for him to become president under any circumstance.
