When I was a little boy, the only bulldogs I knew were in cartoons–big, mean, monster-dogs that terrorized the other characters. I had no idea they were these cute little dogs with lots of personality. Just goes to show you… (Don’t you hate it when people say that, and never tell you what it goes to show you?)

That’s a lot of joy, apparently taken from just being alive and the sensations of bouncing around and rolling on his new bed. You couldn’t call that a pretty animal, but it sure is cute.
