I don’t suppose I’ll ever be happy with the way I do an interview, but I try, I try. I’d much rather hear somebody fantastically famous and universally loved coming on the air in prime time to extol my books–but I’m afraid I’ll have to settle for… me.
Anyway, it’s in God’s hands.
Too bad this couldn’t been live in the room with that fireplace a blazing and the dog on the rug. At least the interval had successfully read the first book all the way through.
It’s bad, though, if the interviewee gets too comfortable and falls asleep in the middle of the show.
