Turn up the volume on this one, and let ‘er rip! Requested by Joshua, Praise to the Lord, the Almighty: sung by Fernando Ortega, written by the German poet Joachim Neander in 1680; and yes, his name, and the name of the Neander River, is the root of the name of “Neanderthal Man.”
This hymn was a great favorite in my church and Sunday school. I still love it today.
Thank you. It is wonderful to hear something uplifting.
I think this hymn is going to be with me all day–as a welcome guest.
Thank you, Mr. Duigon!
And thank you for requesting that, Joshua! It lifted my spirits wonderfully well.
I’m very happy it did! Have a good day, sir!
Wonderful song!
Hallelujah and Amen!!
Thank you for this hymn
