Tomorrow

HisMercy

First thing tomorrow, I’ve got to go to the eye doctor and sit around in his waiting room with the stupid mask on.

Three minutes is all the time I’ve got to post this.

It’s killing my blog.

  1. If you look around while you’re wearing the mask, you may be surprised at how many people are wearing their obligatory masks under their noses so they can breathe. Kind of defeats the ostensible purpose of the masks (i.e., avoiding contagion), but the masks don’t do much anyway, and it technically complies with the “wear a mask” mandate — except for the fine print in the mandate that says “covering the nose and mouth.” But few people have actually read the mandate, and I’ve yet to see anyone in a store or office tell people to pull their masks up.

    1. Yes, I have noticed that–and that’s what I do, although the last time I showed up at the doctor’s with my nostrils free, the receptionist yelled at me.

    2. Next time she yells, say, “I’m sorry, I can’t hear you through your mask.” 🙂

Then find another doctor after you get thrown out of the office. 🙁 🙂
