Let’s face it–the classic hoaxes of the 19th century–like the Cardiff Giant–look like absolutely nothing, compared to the hoaxes of the 21st. “Systemic Racism” is catching up fast, but “Man-Made Climate Change” is still in the lead.

Cardiff Giant Supports Climate Change Summit

Genuine petrified man, ten feet tall. You wouldn’t think that would fool anybody, would you?

But look at all the people who believe in public education.

  1. Speaking of which, I read this morning that there’s talk of a strike if they are asked to go back to work this fall. Apparently, they have no idea of how easily their societal function could be replaced.

    1. You’d think the teachers’ unions would want to get their hands on the kiddies at all costs, so as to continue indoctrinating them into the wonderfulness of transgender; but it looks like they’re even more turned on by the prospect of collecting their paychecks without having to work.

I hope they do go on strike. Anything that keeps children out of the heathen commie schools is a good thing.

    2. This entire pandemic has all but turned society upside down. Ecclesiastes 12:14 says: “for God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.“ The upheaval of all this has brought to light a lot of things which have remained hidden. Political factions have become more radical than ever and their agendas are becoming obvious to anyone in possession of even the slightest bit of common sense. People are dividing themselves along starkly contrasting lines.

One thing that struck me, very early in the quarantine process, is the fact that people will not be easily lured back to the old way of doing things. I work from home, along with hundreds and hundreds of coworkers, not losing any productivity in the process. If anything, I’m more refreshed and capable of doing more than ever. How long will it be before employers realize that they can shed a lot of overhead by allowing people to work from home, pretty much forever? The schools have been out since March and kids are surviving, even prospering, if allowed to. Why would a parent send their child back to something which has proven so easy to replace?

While I feel that much of the effect of this virus has been exaggerated, I am totally convinced that the world has been forever changed by the effects of the response to it.

    3. Hey, cut them some slack! If they have to teach all day, they won’t have time or energy enough to continue going out to the riots so many of them have been taking part in.

  2. It’s not just the degree of the hoaxes that amaze me, but the degree to suppress dissenting opinions. Talk about a strong delusion.
