Well, That’s That for the Car

We’ve just had Patty’s car towed to the mechanic’s, and supposedly we’ll get it back tomorrow. She looked up this weird gas tank problem in the Internet and found that it does occur occasionally. “You’re not alone,” the mechanic said. But the tow truck driver said he’d never heard of such a thing. Let’s just pray it doesn’t cost too much to fix.

If anyone out there think it’s easy to write a fantasy novel with stuff like this going on, I’m here to tell you that it’s not.

  1. I pray it does go well with your car. My son has been working on his Jeep for weeks, one thing and then another, ordering parts, waiting, trying to get by somehow. I just got back from taking the younger son to the clinic to a new doctor who took a long time with him, and diagnosed permanent nerve damage to feel and legs, gave B12 shot, sent him back with nerve pain reliever and three vitamins. Hope this works. Praying for us all. I know God can handle it- just hard on us old folks.

    1. I think I might have a pinched nerve in my leg. *sigh* Pray it goes away.
You and your family are in my daily prayers, Erlene.

  2. This seems to be a bad week or two for everyone. Myself, I have a refrigerator that sounds as though it’s about to explode, although thank goodness it’s still keeping things cold, at least in the lower part of the fridge. The freezer seems to be a bit dicey. Building maintenance checked it all out yesterday and somehow have managed to keep the thing running, but they’ve had to order a new motor and condenser for it, and I have no idea how long that will take. Frankly, if I still lived in a condo and owned my own refrigerator, I’d just replace the whole appliance.

Oh well. Not as bad as what some of the rest of y’all are going through. 🙁 Let’s all keep praying for each other.

    1. When I pray for myself, sometimes God answers. When I pray for others – friends, family – nothing changes. But here we “all keep praying for each other.” And yes, more often than not, He does answer. “If two or more will pray in My name…” PS: I’ve got a fridge problem too – 3 fridges in 10 years.

  3. “…never heard of such a thing”? Let’s see if the bill is unheard of too. Let us know. I’m praying for your pinched let, especially against the pain and discomfort. Can’t drive, can’t walk – please God, give our friend Lee Duigon something good and remove the bad luck.
