What’s with these cats? Haven’t they seen rain before? They do look genuinely puzzled.
If it were raining or snowing when he wanted to go out, as soon as he got his feet wet, our cat Henry would shake them off, move back indoors backward, and then blame me for the weather. I got a lot of annoyed meows for that.
Being indoor cats, I imagine that they really don’t connect with the outdoors. I know that my cat is very concerned by the sound of heavy rain. She’s even more concerned if she begs to go out and finds out that it’s raining outside. She uses meows not fit for polite company.
I would like to see my cats play in the snow, but at this point in their lives, they probably wouldn’t like it.
