Never let it be said that only dogs know how to play with wrapping paper. I wonder why, though, some interfering human has to egg kitty on with a toy on a string. What self-respecting cat can resist making a mess of wrapping paper? It’s almost as good as toilet paper!
My cat thinks that the paper used as cushioning in parcels is the best thing ever. I would love to experience what a cat experiences.

It would. I imagine that they have a very intense predatory instinct which governs them, even in domestic settings.
I agree; cats are after anything that moves even slightly, and even better if it makes a noise, especially if it is new to them.
