My Day So Far

After a night of torrential rains, it’s a cool and sunny day. But I’m indoors because I have to write my weekly Newswithviews column–not as easy as it looks.

I was reluctant to come inside. Not just because the weather’s so nice today, but also because I was out there re-reading Behold!–and if I do say so myself, it’s a very cool book and I wanted to just go on reading it. I should point out that authors don’t always feel that way about their own books, especially when they’re still scrawled over a stack of legal pads.

Maybe I can finish the column in time to get back outside.

Meanwhile, I haven’t yet found a way to bring the blog’s view numbers back up to where they were. More quokkas, anyone? Would that do it?

  1. Well, I don’t know what it will take. Today in this area, it is beautiful, sunny and pretty warm, but wind, always wind. I am still suffering from the same ol symptoms, dizziness, brain fog and weakness. Sure don’t like this. Tomorrow, I have a doc app’t, and hope this can be addressed.

    1. By the way, an awful lot of people seem to be complaining about brain fog since our country got turned inside-out Because COVID. Patty and I both forget things we shouldn’t forget; and we’ve heard the same from much younger people. Maybe it’s a by-product of hearing so much bad nooze.

  2. I know. I hear the same from younger people, too. Something is going on, and I don’t think it is good.

  3. Something about being locked out of things, having all our activities and relationships broken up, muzzled wherever we go, breathing our own carbon dioxide in stores, on edge wondering what they’re going to deprive us of next, watching our Nation being sucked into the Deep State abyss… Yes, these things can get to people.
