What a farce. If I wanted to take vacation, I would. In this heat, especially, I would not consider going anywhere, not as long as our AC is working so nicely.

Yes, and I agree. My computer has been mostly down for most of the afternoon. When I hit leave a reply, I get the message hmmm, can’t reach this page, and that happens on some other sites, too. It has been up to 114 degrees for most of the afternoon. This whole region is having all kinds of trouble with everything; power outages, equipment failures, big car wrecks in the larger cities, on and on it goes.
Of course, all those linens might fall on top of you and smother you. Or you might choke on dust mites. 🙂
My family was all packed and ready to go on a vacation to Arizona when the United States locked down. We are now shooting for this October, but if they shut it down again we won’t be able to go – even the rest stops will be closed again. I imagine the fraudulent president would love to declare martial law because he wants to go down in history as another FDR when in reality he will be ranked below Jimmy Carter.
I wonder–can they just keep on hitting us with lockdowns any time they please? Something tells me “NO!”
