Should I Do Nooze Today?

Study suggests T. rex's legs were made for walkin' – not running

A new study “strongly suggests” that Tyrannosaurus rex used its legs for walking. Well, that knocks the old ballroom dancing theory into a cocked hat. The jumping-jacks theory still has a few die-hards hanging on.

I happened upon a nooze story a few minutes ago and got a blood pressure surge, nor could I restrain certain vigorous exclamations. My wife said, “I thought we weren’t going to do this on the weekend.” Get all worked up over the nooze, she means.

Well, fair enough.

Attention, readers! What would you like to see on this blog on the weekends? I’d like to see more dinosaurs, but that’s only me. What would you like? Don’t ask me to be clairvoyant–tell me! As Popeye once said, “We aims t’please!”

Coming up by and by: Byron’s TV listings.

  1. Just last night, I was talking with a friend about the way things are going and the rapid changes of the last year or so. We both agreed that as disheartening it is to see this, these are things that must take place before Christ returns. I am not blithely unaware of the perils, but what we are seeing aligns very closely with what we are instructed will happen as a run-up to Christ’s return. Whether it happens in my lifetime or not, I can take heart in be able to observe that God’s plans are proceeding. Yes, it is disheartening to see such inversion of all logic, but it is happening for a reason.

Rejoice! Our deliverance is drawing near.

    1. We are told not to be afraid, but that’s not always easy to do. All I can say is that God has helped me to get through so far, and that includes several real setbacks, so I know that He can make things work out, no matter what. I had come to the conclusion that none of this would come to pass in my lifetime, but I’m beginning to think that it may happen fairly soon. Time will tell.

  2. In answer to your question, I’m going to be very unhelpful and just say “Do whatever is most on your mind.” That’s when the creative juices are working the hardest after all. You can always intersperse cute cat (or quokka) videos among the noozey awfulness if that helps bring your blood pressure down. 🙂

Besides, things are happening so fast these days that waiting until Monday and then scrambling to catch up would probably raise your blood pressure even more than dealing with each item as it comes along. Or maybe not. (I told you I was going to be unhelpful, didn’t I?)

    1. Even I miss impotent bad nooze over the weekend (which isn’t as easy to do as you might think), there’ll be a fresh batch of it on Monday.
