One of my favorites, requested by Erlene–Doc Watson singing What a Friend We Have in Jesus–almost brought to tears, too. This is a hymn that makes people pause and listen, if you whistle it as you go by on the sidewalk.
Hard to sing this without feeling it! I’m not sure that can be done.
Can’t be done by me, for sure. I really need this now, as I am feeling much too bad to attend church this morning. If it weren’t for the encouragement of the Lord and His Word, I would want to give up.
