Who wants to be a toddler forever? How much freedom are we willing to give up in order to be “safe”?
Isn’t this shameful? Unworthy? What’s happened to our self-respect? Do we really want The Government to “take care of us,” as if we were just children?
Guaranteed: a government that powerful will turn into a predatory beast, constantly seeking whom it might devour.
This is really shameful, and I will never buy into it no matter how tough things become. I trust in the Almighty only.
I never cared for Libertarians because too many seemed to be for drugs and abortion, but when R.J. Rushdonny described himself as a Christian Libertarian, that everything inside of Christ’s law is permissible, I thought that is what I am: A Christian that desires God’s Kingdom to come and God’s Will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
That’s a great way to look at it. I consider myself a Libertarian, at least in philosophy, but that does not mean that I think all things are permissible. I believe in living a biblically moral life, and would prefer if secular government performed only the essential services.
