I don’t want anybody thinking I’m going to turn into a DJ or anything like that; but I do mean to keep on posting hymns as requested.
Erlene got fed up with the nooze and asked me to post this instead–a classic hymn by Fanny Crosby, Blessed Assurance, sung by the Harpeth Gospel Quartet.

If I’m requesting too many songs, I don’t mean to be a bother. You have perfect right to post whatever you want of course.
Oh, no, I hope I didn’t give you that impression! It’s very upsetting to me, to think I might have. I’m happy to post the hymns that you request (and all our other readers, too). If I said anything to make you think I don’t treasure your hymn requests, please just chalk it up to my having a sudden burst of idiocy.
A hymn that passed the test of time – a classic! I request “All Creatures of Our God and King.”
