Christmas is such a joyous holiday. I have an old friend who has been into the New Age religion for decades yet he buys presents for everyone at Christmas while not believing Jesus is the Christ (just one avatar among many).
One of the things I love best about this song is that it takes each attribute of the holly and uses it to proclaim an aspect of the “reason for the season” — why Christ came into the world.
