  1. Have you, or do you plan to, write any non-fiction books? I thoroughly enjoy reading your posts, but I find science-fiction tedious and distracting. Of the thousands of books I have read in the past sixty-plus years I have been a reader, the only fiction I have enjoyed (since my early teens) have been other-than science fiction. I would purchase and read non-fiction books that you might have written or might still write.

    1. Oh, I could write some non-fiction, but who would print it?

I admit that much of science fiction is tedious. The good news is that my novels are fantasy, not science fiction. The bad news is that there is an enormous amount of fantasy that is not only tedious but totally idiotic.

I wish you’d give my “Bell Mountain” a try and then get back to me. It costs practically nothing if you get it in Kindle format. I’d be very interested in your reaction.

    2. I second your recommendation. I’m a very practical mom with no time to waste on junk fiction. But this series has such a strong allegorical purposefulness with a great plot, attention grabbing turns to the story, not too slow, not too fast … I can actually let myself enjoy the story without feeling like I wasted my day. I’m chomping at the bit to get a copy of volume 9!

    3. I am a fan of science fiction and fantasy, i have read your whole series and it is great. I think the way you blend the story along biblical lines is genius. I beleive that it is a great way to introduce children to teh bible itself. Cannot wait for 10. Thanks,

    4. Ben, thank you so much for that! Words like yours, they keep me going.
I’m checking the first edits on #10 even now.

    5. I will say that I generally do not like fantasy either, but these books are great all of them one after the other through book 8 and then i just read book 9 yesterday. I love these books and cannot wait until book 10 comes out. I am a 62 year-old mom and grandma and very picky about the things I read. I say give them a try!

  2. Very good! I love the Last Banquet the best for now, since it was the most exciting book that I have yet encountered. Reading the Fugitive Prince now… your books are exciting!

  3. I started reading through your series and have really enjoyed them! I’m on Book 5 now. I just started it Saturday(July 16th) and I am already about halfway through it. Thank you for writing these books! I look forward to reading the rest.

  4. I am a 61 year old homeschool mom and I love your Bell Mountain Series. I read 1-8 in a couple of weeks and will reread them now a bit slower! 🙂 I am anxiously awaiting #9. I normally don’t like fantasy that much, but your books are great and I have recommended them to others. Keep up the good work!

    1. I expect it pretty soon. The editor preparing it got a bit overworked, but she says the ebook will be coming soon. I would guess in another two weeks. I hope!

    2. Thanks for the quick response. I have family members (including myself) who are chomping at the bit to get hold of it… 🙂

  5. Hello Lee. I am involved in a Christian bookshop in Western Australia and having read your interview in the Reformed Perspective would love to stock your books. (It is very difficult to find great fiction books for (pre) teens so we get a bit excited when we hear of “new” ones) Does your bookstore have any arrangements for Bookshops? Do you know if the books are available in Australia at all.
    Regards
    Ingrid Dekker

    1. Ingrid, you need to get in touch with The Chalcedon Foundation at the ministry’s offices in California, where my books are published. I’m sure they will be happy to make an arrangement with you.
I’d rather not post phone numbers on this page, but if you can’t find their number on the Internet, please let me know via email at leeduigon@verizon.net , and I’ll take care of it.

    1. I wish I did. It was supposed to be published last month, but there was an editorial bottleneck. I think the editing is finally finished.

Stay tuned to this blog: I won’t fail to let everybody know when the book comes out.

  6. Is # 11 in the works? We await expectantly for further exploits by King Ryons and the further unfolding of the prophecies of Ozias!

    1. No. 11 should be just about ready! Unless they bump it for something else, which sometimes happens. Nobody tells me anything.

  7. Hi, Just started following your blog. Found out about it from people on pogo.com. Planning on purchasing books as I can afford them. Looking forward to reading them.

  8. I am very excited to know that #11 is out! I just ordered it and can’t wait to get it. I ordered the paperback as I prefer print books. Thanks for the great stories. By the way I am a 64 year old grandma! 🙂

    1. You probably wouldn’t be surprised at how many full-fledged grownups read and love these books. I’m glad you’re one of them!

    1. No. 12 will be “His Mercy Endureth Forever.” We’re waiting for the cover art: I don’t know when Kirk will have that for us. My best guess is the book will come out in February or March. I think all the editing is done.

  9. Hello Lee, I hope this finds you and yours well. Has the virus delayed the publication of No. 12? (the digital is what I read). I’m here in NYC, sheltering in place – my wife and I well, thanks to the providence of our God and King. Thanks!

    1. Steve, I was thinking the book would be published any day now, I haven’t heard otherwise–but then I haven’t heard anything at all, lately. The writer’s always the last to know. So I’ll have to ask someone at Chalcedon. I suppose it’s possible the virus scare has upset things. I hadn’t even thought of that. But being stuck in quarantine might be a good time to catch up on one’s reading… and a good time to publish books.

    1. My wife insists my books are not really fantasy. It was nice of you to say they’re practically a genre of their own.

  10. Hello, Lee Duigon.

My name is Katheleen, I’m 14 years old and I’m from Brazil. I read The Bell Mountain in my language and I thought your story fascinating. When I found out that there were more books, I was very excited. I don´t have your books printed, only in e-book, because here in my country the cost of foreign books is very expensive. I would like to translate the second book “The Cellar Beneath the Cellar” into Portuguese, because your history is so rich and magnificent that it deserves to be known and read in my country.
    Thank you for your attention.

    Katheleen da Silva Passos

    1. Well, Katheleen, I’m minded to let you go right ahead and do it! My friend Joshua, a teenager when he started the project, has translated “Bell Mountain” into Japanese.

What you need to do first is to contact Mark Rushdoony at the Chalcedon Foundation and get his approval–with my blessing. If you can’t phone him, please contact him through the Chalcedon website, http://www.chalcedon.edu/ . He’ll tell you how to go about it. We have to find out whether someone else is already working on it.

  11. Hello, Mr. Lee Duigon. So far I haven’t had any answer. Should I wait or contact Chalcedon again?

    1. Mark might be busy. You can try contacting Chalcedon by phone (I mustn’t print the number here; you can look it up)–and ask for Jill at “orders”–and please tell her that I told you to ask for her. I’ll send her an email today and tell her to expect you.

    2. Katheleen, Jill is expecting your call. She’ll answer all your questions. If you can’t find the Chalcedon phone number, let me know and I’ll give it to you. (I don’t like to post someone’s phone number unless I have to.)

    3. Thank you so much, Mr. Lee Duigon. The problem is that I don’t speak English fluently, and I’m afraid I don’t understand Jill, and neither will she understand what I say. Would it be possible to talk to her by email or another way?

  12. Hello, Mr. Lee. I have good news. Jill approved me, and now I can translate your book. Jill sent me the book in PDF and told me that I should send the translations to her when I finish.

  13. Hello, Mr. Lee Duigon. I would like to ask you something. Did you really make up the Bell Mountain story from a dream you had?
