Don’t you just love the way our looniversities use language? We haven’t seen anything like it since the Tower of Babel.

At California Polytechnic, “Diversity Action Initiatives” are being put into play to reduce the number of white students. This is done by the school’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion (https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=11111).

“Inclusion” means excluding white students. And “Diversity” means a rigid uniformity of thought.

The looniversity brags that in 2011 white students were 63% of the student body, but in 2017, less than 55%. And they’ll keep on “culling” white kids until they can say their student body reflects “the demographics of California.”

All right, I’m listening: tell me how this is not a racist policy. Go ahead, give it your best shot.

Meanwhile, the school plans to add “pre-enrollment diversity training,” whatever the hell that is. Probably some scheme to make students’ minds right. More expensive than a sweat box, but still effective. If it wasn’t making students visibly more disturbed and addled, they wouldn’t do it.

Hey, if people really want to send their sons and daughters to a school like that, it’s their business. But why should any public money be poured into an actively racist institution? Why do we have to keep paying them to screw up our country?

De-fund the universities. All of them. Now.

UCLA Prof Dies in ‘Ritual Mummification’ Caper

Okay, I ask again: You send your sons and daughters to these colleges because __________? Fill in the blank and win a tin foil hat!

In the latest example of what kind of kooks are “educating” your children at these looniversities, a UCLA professor of “LGBT and Disability Studies,” whatever that is, died while taking part in a “ritual mummification” thing (really, I don’t know what to call it) at the home of a Hollywood executive (http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/07/01/ucla-professor-dies-in-mummification-ritual-at-hollywood-executives-home.html). They got together there to enjoy “bondage.” The mummification ritual was supposed to be “recreational.” I think I’d rather play softball.

The prof had himself wrapped up in plastic wrap and duct tape, and then stopped breathing. They couldn’t unwrap him in time to save his life.

Oh, but he was a with-it dude! He didn’t use “gendered pronouns.”

How much money did parents have to pony up to pay him to “teach” their children–and what on earth did he “teach” them?

I missed this when it happened in 2016: the University of Michigan awarded some bozo a salary of $385,000 to be a “chief diversity and inclusion officer” (https://www.michigancapitolconfidential.com/22910). It was part of an $85 million “diversity plan” which would bring a golden age of “inclusive scholarship,” whatever the deuce that is.

Coincidentally, the looniversity raised tuition 3.9%.

Think about it: $85 million for pure, unadulterated crapola. Think about that while you break your backs working to pay your kids’ tuition. Think about it when they finally graduate and come back home to live in your cellar because their degrees in Gender Studies and Wise Women of Color Super-Hero Studies disqualify them for any gainful employment.

I wonder what the chief diversity and inclusion officer earns now, two years later.

Somehow I just haven’t got the heart to look it up.

The student government at California State Polytechnic Looniversity has voted to spend $15,000 for “social justice programming” (https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=11052). We are not told what they mean by “programming.” I thought they were already doing plenty of that.

They’re also going to create a Diversity and Inclusion Committee and a “permanent secretary of diversity and inclusion,” whatever the deuce that means. The committee will have power “to make recommendations for inclusive language and consideration of student intersectionality’s [sic]…”

Blather Bingo!

This is crap, and parents who spend a fortune to send their sons and daughters to these dope factories ought to have their heads examined.

De-fund the colleges now. They are hurting America.

What are we supposed to do with the millions of intellectual poverty cases that these schools turn out, a few years down the road?

Cultural liberalism can get really complicated.

In a column in The Atlantic, Caitlin Flanagan complains, “The current state of policing sex on campus is repressive” (https://www.theatlantic.com/amp/article/561650/). Let that sink in for a minute: “policing sex on campus.”

According to policies currently in vogue at assorted looniversities, Flanagan says, it’s possible for two parties to sexually assault each other at the same time; and the winner is the one who gets to the Title IX complaint office first. Like, whichever party wakes up first after a “drunken hookup,” and pre-empts the other party’s complaint by making his or hers first.

I’ll tell you what’s blinkin’ simultaneous: liberalism’s weird mix of sexual revolution, sexual anarchy, and a crazy pseudo-puritanism that looks to some higher legal authority to referee sexual encounters. It’s so weird, I really don’t know if I’m explaining it right. “Do it” every chance you get, but be prepared, at any time, to be accused of some kind of sexual assault, intended or not. In this it resembles Russian roulette.

Higher education. Hot dog.

Our benighted popular culture touts all sex, all the time, but also wants to be the Spanish Inquisition. I don’t blame anybody for not understanding it. I’m sure I don’t understand it.

If anybody comes out of college sane anymore, it’s probably by accident.

“Education” may be the biggest scam ever perpetrated on the human race. It’s certainly the scam that’s lasted longest, putting the Global Warming hoax in the shade. Only leftids still believe in Global Warming/Climbit Change. But practically everyone believes in “education.”

You don’t need unionized left-wing “teachers” and professors, fancy new buildings, or a sprawling campus, or a big fat student debt to expand your intellectual horizons. A lot of what we call “education” actually shrinks them.

$70,000 Worth of–What?

Tuition at Cornell Looniversity is $70,000 and change per year: the high cost of twaddle.

First she showed up in cutoffs and an old shirt. When a professor ventured to ask whether such attire was appropriate to the occasion, the student went on a babble about “women’s rights” and “systemic oppression”–apparently there is now a “right” to deliver your thesis in your underwear–she stripped down to bra and panties and encouraged her fellow students in the audience to do the same: which 28 of 44 did.

The professors let it pass without taking any action or making any further objection.

I remember the defense of my thesis with some pleasure. No students–just me and some of the top-ranking profs in the Political Science Dept. My topic was “A Systemic Analysis of the Viking Age,” featuring the likes of Harald Bluetooth, Ragnar Hairy-Britches, and Olaf the Peacock: sort of a Norse Mafia. We all had a good time. Someone should’ve brought beer and peanuts.

But I didn’t do it in my underwear. They would’ve kicked me out so fast, my shadow would’ve lost me.

This is Higher Education, 2018. You work your fingers to the bone to send your daughter or your son to college, with the costs going as high as the sky, and this is what you get.

Don’t do it anymore. Please. Our country can’t stand it.
