I’m choking back tears. And, supposedly, it was “settled science” that animals don’t have feelings. Obviously, this dog didn’t get that memo. I was separated from a dog ai owned for quite a while. When he recognized me, it was much the same sort of reaction.
This is a moving story. But what kind of “trainer” lets a dog escape. I assume the owners were paying that person.
Sounds like a typical person who doesn’t care, if you ask me.
You have to be so careful of the people to whom you entrust your pets.,
Tell me about it. I used to have a friend of the family who lived nearby and to whom I entrusted the key to my home. I would pay him to keep an eye on the house and to care for the cat, but since he has moved away, it has become all but impossible to find someone I trust.
