Today the weather was really threatening. It looked like it was about to rain or snow any minute most of the day.
I did get to call the accountant’s office, and set up a phone appointment for tomorrow at 9 AM. Good. There are some things that need clarification.
Is anyone dealing with a flu epidemic? It is supposed to be quite bad here in New Jersey, but I try not to expose myself to crowds, and am not sure what to believe about that sort of thing after the COVID fiasco.
It is supposed to warm up some over the next few days, so hopefully I can get out for a walk before my legs atrophy completely.
God bless everybody.
Patty
Funny, I am waiting on a call from a CPA right now. I took down our outside Christmas lights today in 70* weather under deep blue skies, one would think it was time for Easter – loving this global warming.
We could use a little warming here.
Here in the Pacific NW, it is gloomy AND rainy!
Love the Scripture verse included!
God bless!!!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed.
Unusual weather, here in the desert. Normally, during the winter months, blue skies are all but ubiquitous. This year, we’ve had more cloudy skies than I can ever remember seeing. The nights have stayed fairly warm, with lows in the high forties or low fifties, but the days aren’t much warmer. It only got up to the low sixties here yesterday, which is on tje cool side, and, this has been sustained. If you’ve ever been to southern California during cloudy and cool winter weather, that’s what it’s been like here, which is all but unheard of.
They are forecasting 1/2 inch of rain, and rain is always welcome on the desert, but quite rare this time of year.
Rain is the name of the game in New Jersey lately.
I’m grateful for the moisture, but this is unusual for the area. Normally, our rains are sudden downpours, short in duration and usually followed by clearing skies and punishing sun. More recently, we’ve had sustained rains and weather that I would associate within a stone’s throw of the Pacific ocean. Yeah, the Pacific, that big blue thing about 500 miles west of here. 🙂
Friends in the Midwest report a fairly heavy winter, this year. The locks from Superior to the lower Great Lakes are scheduled to close in 8 days, but there has been enough ice, already, to cause some difficulties.
New Jersey has always had a good deal of rain, but lately seems to be more.
I’m building a very large boat in the backyard, out of Gopherwood. 🙂
That might work.
Lowes claims that they’ve had a run on Gopherwood, so there may be a hangup.
Darn those shortages.
I still feel like I’m experiencing San Diego weather; but this is the sort of San Diego weather that the Chamber of Commerce prefers not to talk about. Heavy, moisture-laden clouds, but patches of brilliant blue.
After today we are expecting 3 days of rain. Grrr.
Consider it a gift from Arizona. There are still some big, nasty looking clouds, but our skies are actually blue, for the most part. It’s a broiling 50 degrees, and I just came back from a quick trip to town, to stock up while the weather is cooperative. An hour ago it was spittin’ rain and there was some serious wind.
