A little over two years ago, my daughter was considering getting another dog to be a companion to Boo, her pittie. She saw a notice on Instagram about a dog named Albert who needed a foster home ASAP. He had been in a shelter for over a year, and because he was so quiet and mellow they assumed he was a senior. Actually he was a couple of years younger than they thought. Georgia brought him home and he had some socializing with Boo that went really well. The bottom line was–they never fostered him, they adopted him.
He is possibly one of the most laid back dogs around. His personality is just wonderful.
However, he really likes being outside. I would too, if I spent a year in a shelter.
The happy ending is that Snoopy (changed from Albert) is a jolly, happy, fun loving guy who loves being outdoors.
I really love happy endings.
Snoopy and Boo are the sweetest, most laid back dogs a dog mom could ask for.
I’m glad you liked my coverage of your story!
Snoopy really lucked out when he got to go home with Georgia! So glad he has a good home finally!
He is one happy camper now!
Looks like a gentle little fellow. I’ve heard that Snoopy, as the name of a cartoon dog, actually derives from “Snupi”, a Scandinavian term of endearment.
Well, he is certainly an endearing little fellow.
