I have been recently reading in a book about the 10 persecutions by the Roman emperors against Christians. It is very humbling to contemplate what our fellow Christians have suffered for their faith in Christ. Logically the church should never have survived, but it has because of the supernatural will of our Lord. It has been said, if we can’t have a martyr’s crown, let us have a martyr’s heart.
And it survives in North Korea…
