G’day! Byron the Quokka here… and I’m not quite sure why I’m here today. Let me just collect my thoughts.
Oh! Right! Our 2019 Second Annual Christmas Carol Contest! That’s why Lee posted that picture of our Quokka Christmas tree ornament. It’s a reminder that God’s whole creation, including quokkas, is saved by Jesus Christ.
Anyway, the contest starts the day after Thanksgiving and the winner, when the smoke clears, wins an autographed book. Last year’s winner was TheWhiteRabbit. This year–well, it could be you!
Here’s how it works. We post Christmas carols each day, all the carols requested by readers; and the one whose carol got the most views, on the day it was requested and posted, is the winner. So simple, a kangaroo could understand it.
Now isn’t that more fun than nooze?
I’m making a list (of my favorite carols) and checking it twice…. 🙂
I have a bet with Byron on which carol you’ll request first. At stake is a bowl of pretzels.
Hope Byron wins.
Oh, fun and excitement. I will have to start thinking about this one.
My favorite contest! I hope you are keeping safe, Byron, with all the wildfires going on in Australia today. The news said 80% of the Koala Bear habitat has been destroyed already.
COOL!
Looking forward to it!
Don’t forget to enter!
Yeah!
