Half this post has been cut off and vanished into cyberspace. How did these guys manage to go extinct without computers?
Well, they won’t let me post any pictures, and I have no idea whether this post, without a picture, will actually appear.
It’s not my fault. My neighbor is having enormous troubles today staying on the Internet. It conks out every few minutes. I can’t find out why. Patty’s on the phone with Verizon, trying to talk to some freakin’ robot.
Seems as if the problem is a local tower. Or bad circuits somewhere. Unknowable, can you help?
I just added a picture to my last post, about two hours after I tried to post it and it disappeared. I only got half of it back.
I just hope I can post my cat video this evening.
Everything came through just fine here. Computer problems are a test of our character. I like slamming the phone down hard when the robot gives me no help 🙂
Alas, I can’t slam a cell phone down without breaking it. Every innovation has its drawbacks. 🙄
I think my character failed.
Lee, just letting you know the book just arrived in the mail. Thank you very much!
I hope you enjoy it! Sorry it took so long.
It’s a mystery to me. My own ISP went out today, right will I was working on a computer in Fun never stops.
Dare I say it? Right after posting my cat video–which was attended by a couple of problems–my whole site went back to normal. I have no idea why.
WordPress is a mystery, wrapped in a riddle, wrapped in an enigma, dipped in disgusting “secret sauce”. 🙂
Our neighbor had a bad time with her computer today, same misery we had–incessantly getting kicked off the Internet. But the guy two doors down had no problem at all.
Was he using the same Internet provider?
I don’t know.
Did your WordPress round out of space for memory for pictures?
Apparently not–but they tell us it’s the modem, so maybe a new unit will put a stop to it.
Hope it gets fixed
You wouldn’t believe how well our computers are working today. Perfectly! This is mystifying.
I used to get server notices from Verizon. Now I get this when I try to send articles about the massive influx of COVID-diseased illegal entering the US just in time for the election: “554: Message not allowed – [PH01] Email not accepted for policy reasons. Please visit https://postmaster.verizonmedia.com/error-codes Subject: Despite COVID-19 Risks, Cases of Migrants Crammed in Tractor-Trailers Dangerously Increase”
“Policy reasons,” eh? Information we’re not allowed to have.
