(“Maybe if I tried it right-side up…”)
I don’t know, maybe I needed more snow or something. Whatever the case, I’m having a hard time getting into gear today.
But the sun is out, we’ve done our grocery shopping, and I think I’ll sit outside and have a cigar. And then there are two nooze stories I must cover.
Which reminds me of an ancient joke…
Upscale high-society father to debutante daughter: “There are two words that I don’t want you to use anymore. One is ‘swell’ and the other is ‘lousy.'”
Girl answers: “Yes, papa. And what are the two words?”
[Seven-minute laugh break]
Yes, that is worth a chuckle. We have about 3 inches of new snow, when the last snow
was all but gone. In the front yard and in the back yard, dogs and cats are playing in it.
I am not thrilled with snow, but it is just that it is an inconvenience for my sons who
have things to do outside. I don’t leave the house, so… anyway, we are in for some
really cold days ahead.
Our snow has already melted.
