I went out and got my arthritis medicine today, but my wife and my sister (a nurse practitioner) say it’s bad medicine, risky, etc.–so now what?
A few of you have been kind enough to suggest tart cherry as a remedy. Well, why not? Lately my life has not been a bowl of cherries.
So I’ll try the tart cherry. I haven’t read of any risk factors that ought to concern me.
Some prayers on my behalf should help, too.
I have heard that there are cherry remedies. I have not tried it, but if it is pure, it can’t be harmful.
Prayers too, of course.
Arthritis is a bummer. I have some in my left hand occasionally and it is painful and no fun. May the Lord have mercy and the cherries really help. Until the Rockefeller Foundation got into the business of pushing natural remedies out of the mainstream to promote their pharmaceutical, oil-based drugs, our ancestors had all kinds of natural herbs for medicine.
My arthritis problems are minor, but between a low carb diet and the Tart Cherry extract, they are all but non existent.
Going to buy some tomorrow!
It certainly will not hurt.
To elaborate, it helps with many kinds of inflammation.
Can you tolerate dairy? You may want to try golden milk. This video is where I first learned how to make it. Turmeric is anti-inflammatory, so it should help. I like to have a cup before bed every now and then. I really should have it more often!
