Our nation’s politics is in the Crazy Zone, there’s war in Europe and the Middle East, our culture grows more addled by the day… and some of us are having “foam parties”?
I never heard of this till yesterday. You get a foam machine–it’s sort of like a cannon–and shoot out foam all over the place. The foam is 40% polyisocyanate, 50% polyol, and 10% water–and is supposed to be “safe” (heh-heh) for people, pets, and lawns. Call your family, friends, and neighbors over for a Foam Party!
You can buy your own foam machine, prices run from $200 to $400, with the really big model selling for some $2,500. Money to burn!
Now I don’t know what those chemicals are, you go to look them up and just find them explained in terms of other chemicals you never heard of. Are we really all that surprised when something that’s supposed to be “safe” turns out to be not so safe after all?
At our family wingdings we played horseshoes and grilled hamburgers. You can get by without a foam machine. Honest.
I’m not saying it’s unsafe, immoral, or whatever. But it really does seem a frivolous way to spend your time and money.
It never ceases to amaze me how there are people who seem to have to go after the latest fad, and waste money on things that are senseless, and completely unnecessary. Seems pretty wasteful to me.
You are right on. Now, when you have the time and inclination to post a good worship song
I just thought of Majesty by Maranatha Group.
Tomorrow is thingy… I don’t know when I’ll be fit to write.
When Biden addressed the nation of his stepping down from running for reelection (so much for holding primaries) he read (not very well, maybe at a 6th grade level) that there had been no wars on his watch and no American soldiers had been killed. Then he drops out of sight and lets Kamala Harris repeat all his lies instead of him.
