See that tree? That’s what I feel like, about now.
We’ve just come back from the hospital–and don’t ask me what the doctor said, what anybody did, or even what his name is… because my brain got lost somewhere. Suffice it to say I saw the radiation doctor and the experience was overwhelming. After all the things I heard were wrong with me, it’s a miracle I’m still alive.
(God help me, how I miss our cat!)
And tomorrow is some more doctoring, and then some more on Friday… and if you’ve got prayers for me, I need ’em!
Sorry I couldn’t be more specific. My mind has never been at all comfortable with medical stuff: can’t hold onto it.

Oh, Lee, I’m so sorry you have to go through all of this. We’re all praying for you. I’ll offer my Holy Communion for you at Mass tomorrow morning. Do keep us updated as you go along, and of you need some time off, we’ll understand.

On my knees for you, Lee. Continue to confess the Word, especially the healing verses. You are in the fight of your life. Concentrate on your health more than serving your readership – we do not want to lose you.

I spent time praying for you today, as usual, and believe me I know what this kind of stuff does to a person– and the beloved partner of that one. We know that our Lord is able to heal anyone, anything at any time. Prayers will not stop. We all love you and need you with us.
