Have I told you they’re gonna shut down our Stop & Shop, where we’ve been buying our groceries for decades? They don’t mean to keep it open beyond Oct. 31, so now they don’t bother to restock the shelves. I don’t get that. Why have a store where half the shelves are empty?
So we go to Shop-Rite now, and shopping takes much longer because it’s a new store to us and we don’t know where things are. Also, the aisles are very narrow. But they do have everything we want to buy, once we learn where to look for it.
We still have to visit Target to get my chemo pills. I shouldn’t be scared of pills, but something’s giving me those nightmares.
And then it’ll be five weeks of chemo plus radiation before I find out whether they’re gonna cut me open or not.
This year has really sucked.
Hey Lee. I haven’t posted much in awhile, but I still check in from time to time. The saying “This too shall pass” may not be in the Bible, but I have found it to be true. So, hang in there, and I will remember to say a prayer for you. -Watchman
Welcome back, just when I need your support.
I see where the last K-Mart store in existence is scheduled to close. If Trump can bring back all those factory jobs sent overseas maybe entrepreneurs and family businesses can flourish once again. Trump loved getting rid of regulations – maybe he will also succeed in getting rid of 3-letter bureaucratic institutions that just keep growing bigger and bigger, more powerful and more powerful, and more corrupt and unconstitutional.
Too bad we didn’t listen to George Washington–he saw that coming.
