To Erlene: today I can’t remember how to edit a post or a comment–and my typing is a mess, too. They call it chemo brain.
No, I did not receive “a river in a wheelchair” today. What I did receive was the nurse shutting the car door on my knee because she thought I was all the way inside. Hum baby, did that hurt! But I’m so glad it wasn’t a finger. Try that on for laughs sometime.
Oh, dear, I’m sorry to hear this. Painful things happen to me fairly often, too, so I really understand. Just earlier today, the three big Aussie dogs my son owns were in the house, and suddenly wanted outside to bark at something, and soon as I opened the door, the wild one stepped on my foot on her wild way out and boy did that hurt. I’m not that tough and it doesn’t take much to cause me pain.
We have to pray for each other.
That sounds about as bad at banging one’s funny bone. Prayers every day for you and Patty.
I have tried those things on, just for laughs a time or two. Things will get better, it just takes time. You, Erlene, and others who have asked for prayer, I pray for, as do others for all of you.
I certainly appreciate your prayers, and I know Lee does. I include the whole group in my prayers, too. Let’s keep it going.
