Good News is Always Worth Waiting For

I just got back from visiting Lee. He looks great and is dying to get back to work. He even has an idea for Joe College. He has PT every day and is climbing stairs and walking a lot. He has 2 tests next week. One is the final follow up with the radiation oncologist, and the other is another visit with the urologist. Those visits are scheduled for Friday and if they can do the urology procedure right away, he might be able to return home early next week. I can’t tell you all how busy I have been, but am managing. Sometimes it seems like one is trying to be in two places at the same time!
Some of the issues that Lee has had have just gone away. Thank you, Jesus.
In our 47 years of marriage, we have never been apart this long, and it is a very strange feeling.
That’s all the news for now, but I will keep you all posted.
Thanks again for your prayers and blessings. You are all blessed and prayed for as well.
In His name.
Pat

  1. Oh, thanks be to God! I’ve been praying constantly, all through the day every day, and I’ll keep praying. Several of the women in my craft circle have put you and Lee on their prayer lists as well.

And I can hardly wait for the latest adventures of Joe Collidge. Such a good sign that Lee is ready to start writing again! I send my love to both of you.

  2. Praise God our Father for His continuing loving care of our bother and sister in Christ, Lee and Pat! Thank you, Pat, for your attention to our desire for updates about your husband.

  3. So very glad to read that and am praying extra hard for your fortitude and that Lee can cone home sooner rather than later! Amen on that “Thank you, Jesus!” too.

  4. So wonderful to hear how compassionate our Heavenly Father is and has been acting
on both of your behalf. Thank you so much for your considerate updates. Prayers will
certainly continue for both of you wonderful friends.

  5. Thanks to your info, I was able to visit with Lee on the phone yesterday. Look forward to his homecoming next Wednesday …hopefully. Prayers continue.
